PRISM@NET: Capturing, dispatching and visualization

It acts as a maintenance portal.

Main features:

  • Warning sending through intranet/internet.
  • Connection with MES, SCADAS systems and building technical management.
  • Prioritized graphic representation of warnings in intranet or extranet terminals.
  • Work orders forwarding (automatically or manually) to landlines, mobile phones, Smartphones or e-mails (check module: Knowledge management).
  • Warning follow-up by the issuer (work approval).
  • Assignment of warnings to technicians: Conversion of warnings into work orders or rejected requests. Combined with sending of messages and/or e-mails.
  • Interactive, easy-to-create monitoring sheets.

Knowledge management

  • prisma_gestion_mantenimientoEvents and triggers. It enables the management as an exception, be it to communicate incidences to a technician or to warn a manager that an indicator is not complying with the objectives.
    • Indicators (KPIs). Free definition of indicators.
    • Intelligent report generator (GII). Free definition of contents of reports which are automatically designated other reports for distribution by means of the PRISMA workflow system.
    • Optimization of maintenance policies. It enables the optimization of preventive actions (cycles and content) by analysis of defects and report of ranges.
    • Optimization of stocks and procurements. Through the application of the Montecarlo distribution, Poisson method, and Wilson formula.
    • Fault diagnosis expert system. It helps to freely create decision rules, and its simple and effective diagnostic sessions take advantage of intervention records to identify what caused the faults and to establish the necessary actions for their solution.
    • RCM: Designed for management focused on reliability. It enables the evaluation of assets under the RCM principles (Reliability Centred Maintenance), complying with the recommendations of ISO 55000 standards.

Stock management

  • If you use PRISMA mobile warehouse it enables the use of storage bar codes. It also enables conventional bar code readers.

Procurement management

Main features:

  • Generation of delivery notes and service orders using WOs (contract hour orders for administration). The invoice can be reported without more processes. Automatic creation of orders and invoices using delivery notes.
  • Automatic conversion of work order lines to delivery note lines.
  • Delivery note orders for materials that are to stay in stock directly against work orders/assets.
  • Automatic or manual invoicing. Payments in invoice lines.
  • Automatic and dynamic PMP calculation, including non-sequenced invoices.

Corporate supervision

For clients who own the Corporate version (Multi-company) in PRISMA , the supervision option enables:

  • Global structure of company or company clients’ assets from the various plants/centres or companies to the assets and their components.
  • Warehouses structure: Inter-plants/inter-centres/or inter-companies inventories.
  • Corporative authority chart:

-By plants/centres/companies/clients.

-By products lines / service or activity.

-By type of machines/equipment.

  • Visualization of global indexes or by plants/centres/companies.

-Selection of indexes (KPls) to be shown.

Linear or continuous assets:

In this option, PRISMA is designed for communication infrastructures, transport networks, energy, and other continuous assets.

Main features:

  • Separation of linear assets (lengths, positions, directions, etc.)
  • prisma_activos_linealesPositioning of assets (PKs), their lengths and directions.
    • Identification of the position or section affected in work orders.
    • Segmentation of preventive ranges by sections (issuance of deferred work orders).
    • Inquiries and historical data by section.
    • It enables (or not) the coexistence of linear assets within a structure and sorts their view.
    • If an asset is linear, it will have a class, a measure system and a start-end.
    • If an asset is child of a linear asset, the position is registered (between start-end of the parent).
    • Any asset, although child of a linear one, may also be a linear asset (for example, a tunnel in a freeway); the assets considered their child records are referenced to them.
    • A request/WO on a linear asset registers a position (between start-end of the parent).
    • Stoppages or assets out of service when there is an incidence.
    • Work requests and work orders to linear assets.
    • Work orders query from the start to the end of positions (this is, by sections).
    • Preventive actions on linear assets: Activities by section (for example, cleanings, status revisions).

Sales

This PRISMA module is aimed at companies offering post sale maintenance services and technical services.

Main features:

  • prisma_ventas
    • Design of prints of corrective/preventive orders similar to manuals. Simple layout.
    • Commercial conditions of contracts with clients (rates by type of product and service in % over price or fixed value).
    • Estimate cost of work orders.
    • Creation of work orders invoices with: Possibility of calculation by defect (rates or estimate costs of approved work orders) editable with or without detail of amounts, invoicing based on forecasts and calculation of fee to be invoiced with no need for issuing work orders.
    • Reports for clients on generated invoices.
    • Margins of contracts.

Customization utilities

There are two customization utilities levels:

-Standard customization utilities (SKD standard) included in license and aimed at the application administrators (no need for knowledge on ICTs), which main functions are:

  • Parameters
  • Passwords and protections (there are optional integrations with Active Directory).
  • User menus.
  • Reports configuration and standard search of PRISMA (Superquery).
  • Massive data upload (from PRISMA, electronic spreadsheets or from other applications).
  • Events (if a knowledge management module is available).
  • Indicators (if a knowledge management module is available).

-Advanced customization utilities (advanced SDK) for ICTs professionals, that have the following main functions:

  • Adaptation and creation of screens.
  • Adaptation and creation of reports.
  • Adaptation and creation of queries.
  • Adaptation of functioning conditions.
  • Data importer (Multifunctional: Data to be recorded on PRISMA or to be used on correlations and indicators).
  • Transfer files generation for integrations without the need of programming.
  • Adaptation of data validation (“client logic”).

Prisma mobile maintenance

Available on Android, IOS and Windows Phone platforms.

    • Online accessibility to the assets tree and the operation over the assets.

Prisma mobile warehouse

Its use is oriented to personal and/or industrial Smartphones. Through the use of a bar code, it is possible to have:

  • Warehouse issues addressed to work orders in real time.
  • Recurring materials recounts.
  • Products and queries identification.
  • Programs for issuing bar code labels associated to the warehouse entrances (on the stock management module of PRISMA).

Prisma mobile scorecard (KPI Manager)

Main features:

  • Monitoring from a mobile device of PRISMA (and/or CAPTOR).
  • Each mobile device defines up to 10 pages where the elements to monitor are located as well as their indicators.
  • The indicators to monitor on each page can correspond to elements (assets, groups of posts, individual groups…) from different companies and different levels inside of each company.
  • The value of the indicator is displayed (with a colour associated to limits) and is possible to access its evolution based on several periods of analysis (shift, day, week…).
  • Access to the information status of the monitored element is possible (incidence, what is being produced, workers on site…).

It requires the knowledge management module and in multi-company version, the corporate supervision module.

Energy management

Main features:

  • Multi-consumption management (electricity, water, gas…) and related costs.
  • Independent or hierarchized measuring points (gauge).
  • Multiple input readings: Manual, by Excel, online by web services. (Requires the integration module via web services).
  • Free definition of consumption indicators with max/min limits. (Requires the knowledge management module).
  • Free definition of alarms with automatic sending of SMS, emails, etc. (Requires the Knowledge Management module).
  • With option to multi-supply and multi-level. (Requires the corporate supervision module).
  • Fingerprint control.
  • Definition of supply contracts with different cost sharing criteria.
  • Generation of supply invoices.

Integration connectors with ERPs

Most of the companies that use PRISMA own ERPs business management systems.  In these cases, users prefer to take advantage of the simplicity PRISMA offers and choose to integrate both systems in order to ensure the exchange of data.

To simplify the integration process, PRISMA uses connectors (standard customizable models) based on web services (SOAP Standard), that enables a quick implementation that ensures easy handling by the end user and coherence of the information.

The following integrations with ERPs are available:

  • INFOR ERP Baan
  • ORACLE ERP
  • MOVEX

Integration with SCADAS, BMS and MES systems

PRISMA provides integration web services by which the automated data capture system refreshes information probably referring to:

  • Incidents (are equal to fault requests): Start and end of faults.
  • Activity counters (gauge).
  • Predictive checkpoint variables (analogue gauges to counters).
  • Integrations with other products we develop starting from Sisteplant like CAPTOR, PROMIND and ITRACKER are inherent, and are part of one suite.

Integration with GIS Systems

If you wish to connect to a GIS or cartographic system with PRISMA, two aspects must de distinguished:

prisma_integracion_gisGIS à PRISMA Connections. To perform queries that can be visualized by the own GIS or to update data, PRISMA 3 provides integration web services through which an external system can access to your data, and where GIS must have the capacity of requesting them and contribute with the selection/search parameters, etc.

If you wish to call a particular record (for example an asset), a query shown by PRISMA itself, or to launch a process (for example creating a work order), providing GIS the ability to make a request to an URL, request from the program and requested record is enough, returning then from PRISMA to GIS when the query or process is finished.

PRISMA à GIS Connections. These connections can be:

  • To access GIS from browsing the application. In this case, it will only be necessary to grant access by sending a request to an URL.
  • To print alarms/colour change of any status flag, etc. PRISMA will, through an event, send the alarm occurrence order, and the GIS system must have the precise functionality to execute that order on screen through web services or tables available.
  • Another option is that the GIS, through calling a PRISMA web service, executes a query that returns the assets to point out on the cartographic visualization (for example assets that have ongoing corrective work orders).
  • For an ideal functioning it needs to have “integrated security”.

 

Pen Scanner

Main features:

  • Design of prints of corrective/preventive orders similar to manuals. Simple layout.
  • Collection of completed forms in real/deferred time.
  • Use of standard prints created by Sisteplant or custom-developed.
  • Integration with PRISMA through web services.
  • Low cost and quick deployment in the organisation. It does not require a change of habits or additional learning.
  • Collection of electronic signatures and even pictures.
