Objectives
- At the end of 2001 the SISTEPLANT’s M.E.S implementation starts
- The objective is to implement 20 group plants in a three and a half years delay
- The system will need to function integrated to the SAP corporative ERP
- The project team should be able to work in an international environment, realising implementations in Spain, Portugal, France, UK, Poland and Hungary
Implementation
- The first group plant implementation starts in January 2002 and for June 2005 over than 20 plants are working
- The specific casuistic of each plant is adapted to the system, obtaining an ample use in every single plant and a high degree of acceptation from the users
- The system works on different manufacturing models, on different hardware environments and in 6 different languages
Results
- Every single plant uses CAPTOR as a plant management tool, feeding its decision environment with objective information in real time
- Company has a consolidated information for managament, having at its disposal homogeneous information by plant, by division and by corporation level
- The systems feeds the ERP with specific information, having at its disposal recent information without expensive administrative processes
